On the 28th, former Prosecutor General Yoon stated in a press release, "We will resolve the blind spots in caregiving support by including nursing hospital caregiving fees under the National Health Insurance coverage."
Former Prosecutor General Yoon promised to alleviate the employment concerns of those responsible for nursing and caregiving by extending family care leave and vacation periods under the Gender Equality Employment Act. Additionally, he plans to assign the National Health Insurance Corporation to design and support customized care plans and to train and deploy specialized personnel such as nursing and caregiving coordinators to help address information shortages.
Furthermore, his pledge includes introducing integrated home care benefits and expanding day care centers (daytime care centers).
