PCC, 3rd Recruitment for Human Rights Inspector... "No Suitable Candidate Found"
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Hyung-min] The High-ranking Officials' Crime Investigation Agency (HCIA) announced on the 28th that it will reopen the recruitment for the Human Rights Inspector, who is exclusively responsible for internal audits, inspections, and human rights protection duties.
The Human Rights Inspector is a position responsible for internal audits and inspections within the HCIA, investigating and handling complaints and misconduct of affiliated public officials, and protecting and improving human rights during the performance of duties.
Previously, the HCIA conducted a public recruitment process for the Human Rights Inspector starting in February, right after its launch, but failed to find a qualified candidate. It reopened recruitment at the end of June but again judged there was no suitable candidate, leading to a third recruitment. Since the hiring process typically takes about 3 to 4 months, the Human Rights Inspector position is expected to remain vacant until next year.
