iFamilySC Surpasses IPO Price on First Trading Day... Strength in Quickly Adapting to Changing Trends
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Hyungsoo] iFamilySC is showing strong performance on its first day listed on the KOSDAQ market.
As of 9:24 AM on the 28th, iFamilySC is trading at 30,150 KRW, up 5.24% from the opening price. During the session, it rose as high as 32,000 KRW. The opening price was set at 28,650 KRW, which is 14.6% higher than the public offering price of 25,000 KRW.
iFamilySC plans to use the funds raised through the public offering for investments and collaborations with brand companies, development of new cosmetic brands including cosmeceuticals, skincare, and color cosmetics. Additionally, it will invest in strengthening its wedding platform business and expanding beauty and fashion platforms to lay the foundation for becoming an interactive branding company.
Choi Jaeho, a researcher at Hana Financial Investment, explained, "The fact that marketing and content production are handled in-house gives it a competitive edge over rivals," adding, "The faster product launch speed provides competitiveness in the beauty industry where trends change rapidly."

He continued, "Since 2019, the company has been expanding into overseas markets, and this year the sales proportion of cosmetics by country is 50% Japan, 30% domestic, and 15% China," adding, "the sales proportion of cosmetics for the Japanese market is expected to more than double compared to last year."
