[Asia Economy Reporter Minwoo Lee] Dentis's LED surgical light product has been selected as an excellent research and development innovative product by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy.
Dentis announced on the 27th that its LED surgical light brand 'Rubis' was selected as an excellent research and development innovative product by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy this year. The selection notification was received in June, and the final certification as an innovative product was recently obtained. The validity period of this innovative product designation is three years until May 31, 2024.
Rubis consists of three products: the medium-to-large LED shadowless lights 'Rubis M400' and 'Rubis L400', and the small LED surgical light 'Rubis S300'. The product's functionality and convenience, including illumination, shadowless performance through a hybrid optical system, and infrared sensors, received favorable reviews. It is evaluated that Dentis's unique technology and production system have led domestic production, achieving performance and price competitiveness compared to global products.
Dentis emphasized that the smart control functions through sensors and remote control within the operating room, which is sensitive to infection control and hygiene, as well as special designs for turbulence control, have been recognized for safety in cross-infection management and hygiene.
