Chairman Chey Tae-won of SK Visits Late Father-in-law Roh Tae-woo's Funeral Hall, Says "My Heart Hurts Deeply"
[Asia Economy Reporters Jeon Jinyoung and Park Juni] Choi Tae-won, chairman of SK Group and son-in-law of the late former President Roh Tae-woo, visited the funeral hall at Seoul National University Hospital in Jongno-gu, Seoul, where the late former president's wake is being held, on the 27th.
Chairman Choi entered the funeral hall around 10:30 a.m., paid his respects for about 10 minutes, and then left. After paying his respects, Chairman Choi told reporters, "My heart is deeply saddened," and expressed his condolences, saying, "He endured a lot for a long time, and I hope he can now rest in peace."

He did not answer when asked about his relationship with the deceased during his lifetime. Chairman Choi married Roh So-young, director of the Art Center Nabi and daughter of former President Roh, but they are currently undergoing divorce proceedings. After finishing his condolence visit, Chairman Choi immediately departed for a business trip to the United States.
