The ICT Health Care Centers are welfare services that continuously monitor the health status of integrated care recipients (elderly, disabled, mentally ill) through nursing public officials in separate spaces prepared within administrative welfare centers.
The city manages the health of care recipients by linking with neighborhood clinics and Busan National University Hospital, based on 10 to 12 basic results measured at the centers, such as blood pressure, blood sugar, urine analysis, and liver function tests.
Citizens who are not care recipients can also visit the ICT centers to use simple health management services. After making a reservation and visiting the center, they can receive body measurements, blood pressure and blood sugar tests, body composition analysis, stress measurement, and health consultations using the equipment provided.
Since January, the city has been operating ICT Health Care Centers in the administrative welfare centers of Jinyeong-eup, Naeoe-dong, and Jangyu 3-dong. With this expansion, starting next month, the centers will also operate in the administrative welfare centers of Bukbu-dong, Saman-dong, and Hwalcheon-dong, increasing the total beneficiary areas to six.
