On the 25th, the PPS announced that it has published the "2020 Public Procurement Statistical Yearbook," which comprehensively records the procurement performance of all public institutions, including national agencies, local governments, and public enterprises, from last year.
The statistical yearbook was published for the first time this year and can be accessed through Ontongjodal (Public Procurement Statistical System). Since 2015, the PPS has been collecting and disclosing public procurement statistics monthly and annually via Ontongjodal. The yearbook is a compilation of these data into a single volume.
The yearbook covers the total contract scale of public procurement last year and contract performance statistics divided into 38 items across four fields: by institution, by project, by procurement system, and by region, as well as key procurement policy statistics.
In particular, the yearbook includes "Procurement Statistics at a Glance," which visualizes major statistics through graphs and maps to aid user understanding.
