According to Gyeonggi-do on the 25th, construction began last November, installing and reinforcing terraced retaining walls and landscape-type retaining walls on vulnerable slopes, and installing ring nets and rockfall prevention measures to prepare for falling rocks.
This area was a place of concern for casualties due to falling rocks or soil runoff during natural disasters such as heavy rain. The maintenance project has been underway since last year with a total budget of 3 billion KRW, including 1.5 billion KRW in national funds and 220 million KRW in provincial funds.

In addition to the Eumnae 1 District project, the province plans to promote the 'Steep Slope Collapse Risk Maintenance Project' for Sanyu 2 District in Gapyeong-gun and Gyeongsa District in Icheon City. The Sanyu 2 District is currently under design, and the Gyeongsa District in Icheon is scheduled to start next year.
