“Cosmetic Sets for Women” Gyeongnam Jeonbodae Wins at ‘Capstone Design Competition’ and Video Content Contest

Gyeongnam Information University announced on the 22nd that the ‘Shoot for the moon’ team from the Department of Skin Makeup and Nail won the Excellence Award in the Auction Market category of the ‘2021 Social Customized Industry-Academia Cooperation Leading College (LINC+) Development Project Capstone Design Competition’ hosted by the Ministry of Education and the National Research Foundation of Korea.
The ‘Shoot for the moon’ team consists of Professor Hwang Yoon-young as advisor and students Won Ji-eun, Kwon Hyun-jin, Jeon Ji-won, and Jung Soo-min from the Department of Skin Makeup and Nail.
This team developed and submitted an ‘Eco-friendly body cosmetics set for women in their 20s,’ responding to the recent consumer trend toward products that are non-irritating to the skin and natural cosmetics.
The team filed a patent application for a natural shampoo bar and its manufacturing method, and the university introduced that the technology will be transferred to participating companies for commercialization.
