According to the police on the 21st, the Mapo Police Station in Seoul is tracking a man who approached as if to purchase an expensive wristwatch near the main gate of Hongik University in Seogyo-dong, Mapo-gu, around 5 a.m. the previous day and fled wearing the watch. The watch is known to be worth over 9 million won.
The victim, Mr. A, posted a listing to sell the watch on the used trading platform 'Danggeun Market' around 2:30 a.m. the same day. Later, around 4 a.m., he received a message from someone expressing interest in buying, and met the man near the main gate of Hongdae around 4:50 a.m.
