KT&G Welfare Foundation Supports 150 Compact Cars to Social Welfare Organizations Nationwide

View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Hye-sun] KT&G Welfare Foundation announced on the 20th that it held the '2021 Social Welfare Institution Vehicle Support Project Delivery Ceremony' on the 19th at Euni Nursing Home located in Yongin City and supported 150 compact cars to social welfare institutions nationwide.
Reflecting the field's opinion that compact cars capable of navigating narrow alleys are necessary due to the characteristics of welfare beneficiary areas, KT&G Welfare Foundation has been supporting economical and highly mobile compact cars annually since 2004. The total number of vehicles delivered to social welfare institutions nationwide has reached 1,950 as of this year.
In the vehicle support contest held in June, a total of 800 social welfare institutions nationwide participated, including comprehensive social welfare centers, disability welfare centers, senior comprehensive welfare centers, and local children's centers. After thorough screening, KT&G Welfare Foundation finally selected 150 institutions deemed to have priority support needs.
