On the 20th, Hyundai Livart announced that it will officially conduct new product launch showcases via live broadcasts. This is the first time in the furniture industry that a new product launch is revealed through a live commerce channel. Last December, Hyundai Livart introduced 'Livart Live,' the industry's first home furnishing specialized live commerce channel.
Starting with the new product launch broadcast of the 'Brute Leather Sofa' on the 16th of last month, Hyundai Livart has conducted 10 broadcasts including 'Linne Sliding Wardrobe' and 'Ronan Series,' and plans to add more than five additional broadcasts by the end of the year.
A Hyundai Livart official said, "As non-face-to-face consumption expands due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic, live commerce has established itself as a core marketing tool. To secure a leading position in the home furnishing live commerce market, we decided to broaden the scope of 'live broadcasts' not only for simple promotional events but also for new product launch showcases."
Livart Live can be viewed every Tuesday and Thursday at 6 p.m. through the Livart Mall homepage and app. The new product launch broadcasts introduce upcoming home furniture products such as sofas, dining tables, and beds, and sales are conducted through pre-reservation. The broadcast videos can be rewatched on the Livart Mall website and app.
Customer response to live commerce is also high. Hyundai Livart's live commerce sales up to this month have increased more than 20 times compared to the same period last year (up to October last year), and the cumulative number of viewers has increased more than fivefold.
