CareLabs Goodoc Introduces KT Healthcare Video Call Solution... Pilot Service for Mobile Consultation Launched
[Asia Economy Reporter Jang Hyowon] CareLabs subsidiary Goodoc announced on the 18th that it will launch a pilot service for non-face-to-face mobile consultations specialized in the healthcare sector by introducing KT's 'Healthcare Video Call Solution.'
This pilot service is part of the partnership cooperation following the 'Digital Healthcare Service Joint Development and Business Cooperation' memorandum of understanding (MOU) signed by Goodoc and KT in June to respond to the increased demand in the domestic non-face-to-face healthcare market after COVID-19. By integrating KT's 'Healthcare Video Call Solution' technology into 'Goodoc,' the number one mobile healthcare platform in Korea by user count, the aim is to enhance medical accessibility between hospitals and patients.
The pilot service, provided in the form of mobile consultations within the Goodoc app, will be limited to users who apply. Since KT's healthcare-specialized video solution has recently expanded its features to include ▲health IoT device integration ▲real-time image sharing ▲AR drawing, the company expects to further expand supported functions and enable more precise mutual communication during non-face-to-face consultations, which has been limited until now.
