At the National Assembly Land, Infrastructure and Transport Committee audit held on the 15th at the Incheon International Airport terminal, President Kim addressed the termination of employment contracts for some workers, including airport firefighters and wildlife control personnel, saying, "We have conveyed the need for relief under government policy to the subsidiary, and once the first trial ruling on the related administrative lawsuit comes out around the end of the year, the issue will be resolved immediately."
President Kim added, "The subsidiary of Incheon International Airport Corporation fully empathizes with the issue of some workers being excluded from direct employment."
When Park Sang-hyuk, a member of the Democratic Party of Korea, asked about the potential losses the corporation might bear upon the conclusion of the golf course eviction lawsuit involving Incheon International Airport Corporation and Sky72 Golf & Resort (Sky72), President Kim explained, "If a new operator had conducted business this year, payment of 53.7 billion KRW in land lease fees was expected, and an additional revenue of about 38 billion KRW was anticipated, but we are currently incurring losses."
Regarding the attraction of domestic aviation MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul) business to Incheon Airport, in response to a question from Kim Gyo-heung, a member of the Democratic Party of Korea, asking, "Shouldn't the Incheon Airport MRO complex be designated as a free trade zone to gain competitiveness?" President Kim replied, "Duty exemption on imported parts is necessary to maintain competitiveness compared to overseas MRO complexes."

On the other hand, Ha Young-je, a member of the People Power Party, pointed out that Incheon International Airport Corporation's attraction of the Israeli state-owned aviation defense company (IAI) and cargo conversion production base to the MRO complex violates current laws. Representative Ha emphasized, "The signing of the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) between the corporation and IAI means the corporation's role is not simply providing land," adding, "Providing hangars and aviation infrastructure facilities constitutes a violation of current laws."
