Gimhae City Announces Recruitment for Citizen Policy Council Members... Implementing Open Administration
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Sang-hyun] Gimhae City, Gyeongnam Province announced on the 14th that it will publicly recruit members for the 'Gimhae City Gimhae-style Citizen Policy Council' until the 20th.
The Citizen Policy Council was launched in 2015 to gather citizens' opinions on major city policies. So far, it has deliberated on 23 agenda items, including specialization plans for the Gimhae City Reading Festival.
The number of recruits is 20 people across 7 fields including economy and business, welfare and health, including 2 recommended by the council.
Eligibility to apply is open to any citizen registered as a resident in the jurisdiction or representatives or executives of businesses with headquarters or branches in the area, and selection will be made through screening.

Applications can be submitted by filling out the application form announced on the city hall website and either visiting the City Hall Department of Autonomous Administration in person or sending it via email to the department in charge.
