Damyang-gun Promotes 'Career Connection Voucher' Project to Support Women with Career Interruptions
Women aged 35 to 54 to receive 200,000 KRW via voucher card
[Damyang=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Kim Chunsu] On the 12th, Damyang-gun, Jeollanam-do announced that it will promote a career connection voucher card support project to encourage early social reintegration of women with career interruptions who face difficulties in resuming employment due to childbirth and childcare.
The support target is women aged 35 to 54 who have had an address in Damyang-gun for more than one year as of the application date, have registered as job seekers at employment institutions, and whose health insurance premiums are below 150% of the median income.
The voucher card will be provided once in a lifetime with 200,000 won in points, which can be used for purchasing books for job preparation, tuition fees, interview preparation, etc., and applications can be submitted at the resident's eup/myeon office by the 30th of next month.
However, those without an address in Damyang-gun or those who have participated in the Female Farmer Happiness Voucher, National Employment Support System, or financial job projects are excluded.
