'Healing and Therapeutic Spaces' Smart Garden... 20 Locations Established in Incheon Industrial Complex
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Hyesook] Incheon City has established 20 smart gardens this year.
Smart gardens are a new type of indoor garden designed to maximize rest, healing, and ornamental effects by utilizing idle spaces in industrial complexes and public facilities to provide a pleasant resting place.
Since last year and until September this year, the city has installed smart gardens in 8 locations in Namdong National Industrial Complex, 4 locations in Juan (Bupyeong) Industrial Complex, 1 location in Seoun General Industrial Complex, and 1 business site in Ganghwa General Industrial Complex, as well as 6 public facilities including Gyeyang District Office, Jakjeon and Dongyang Libraries, and Jungsan Middle School.
Considering the installation site conditions, appropriate forms between cube-type and wall-type were selected, planting indoor plants with excellent air purification ability, and introducing smart management systems such as automatic watering systems and growth lighting.
