Naju-si Launches 'Move-in Registration Campaign'
[Naju=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yukbong] Naju City, Jeollanam-do (Mayor Kang In-gyu) announced on the 12th that the Population and Youth Policy Team of the Planning and Budget Office, consisting of about 10 employees, conducted the ‘Najuae Address Registration’ campaign recently near the roads and restaurant areas around the relocated public institutions in Bitgaram-dong.
This campaign was carried out over two days during lunchtime, targeting employees of public institutions and companies commuting from other regions, using shoulder sashes, banners, and placards with phrases such as ‘The First Step of Loving Naju is Moving-in Registration,’ ‘Living with Najuae,’ and ‘Register Your Address with Najuae.’
Additionally, promotional leaflets detailing moving-in support benefits such as youth couple marriage congratulatory money (2 million won), support for newlywed and multi-child families’ housing, childbirth encouragement money, and housing cost support for young workers were distributed to encourage non-registrants to ‘Register Your Work Address.’
A city official stated, “We will continue various campaigns to increase the population, which is the greatest driving force for regional development,” adding, “We will promote moving-in support benefits to non-registrants such as one-room residents and new apartment occupants, and do our best to achieve a self-sufficient city of 50,000 in the Innovation City and a population of 120,000.”
