[Asia Economy Reporter Oh Ju-yeon] On the 9th, the whole country is expected to be mostly cloudy with rain in some areas.
According to the Korea Meteorological Administration, the nation will remain cloudy until the 10th, with the highest daytime temperature on the 9th expected to reach 29 degrees Celsius.
On this day, Gangwon Yeongdong and the eastern coast of Gyeongbuk are expected to receive 20 to 70 mm of rain by noon, while the southern eastern coast of Gyeongbuk, Ulleungdo, and Dokdo are forecasted to have 5 to 30 mm of rainfall.
Incheon, northern Gyeonggi, northern Gangwon Yeongseo, and Jeju Island may experience rain in some places, with expected precipitation less than 5 mm.
The morning low temperature is expected to be between 15 and 21 degrees Celsius, and the daytime high temperature between 21 and 29 degrees Celsius.
Additionally, some inland areas may have fog with visibility less than 1 km until 9 a.m., and especially in the Gangwon mountain region, dense fog with visibility below 200 meters is expected due to low clouds until tomorrow.
Strong winds and high waves are expected in the central East Sea offshore and the southern offshore of Jeju Island, so vessels engaged in navigation or fishing should exercise caution.
