Yoo Seung-min's Side Says "Claim That Yoon Seok-yeol Never Met Anal Acupuncture Expert Is a 'Lie'"
Mr. Lee Byung-hwan, who stated 'I have never met' in a TV debate, accompanied former Prosecutor General Yoon at the June event
[Asia Economy Reporter Naju-seok] The campaign team of former lawmaker Yoo Seung-min, a presidential candidate from the People Power Party, pointed out on the 6th that former Prosecutor General Yoon Seok-yeol’s claim during a broadcast debate that he did not know “anal acupuncture specialist” Lee Byung-hwan was a “lie.”
Lee Soo-hee, spokesperson for Yoo’s campaign, stated in a commentary that “During yesterday’s TV debate, when asked ‘Have you ever met a person named Lee Byung-hwan? The one who inserts needles into a strange specific area... the person who was following behind former Prosecutor General Yoon at his first public event on June 9th, don’t you know him?’ Yoon repeatedly answered ‘I have never met him. I don’t know him,’” and added, “(This) answer from former Prosecutor General Yoon is a lie.”
Spokesperson Lee said, “If you watch the video of the opening ceremony of the Woo-dang Lee Hoe-young Memorial Hall on June 9th, Lee Byung-hwan closely accompanied former Prosecutor General Yoon, greeting guests, adjusting Yoon’s attire as he ascended the stage, frequently talking with him, and even providing security,” and criticized, “To say you have never met someone who accompanied you is a bizarre answer. At that time, Yoon had not yet joined the People Power Party and had not formally organized a campaign, so only very close acquaintances could be beside him. How could a stranger have accompanied him?”
He added, “Lee is known for his unusual background as a self-proclaimed ‘anal acupuncture specialist,’ and it is said that he claimed to breathe energy into people through his acupuncture,” and questioned, “Why are names of fortune-tellers or shamans frequently mentioned in relation to former Prosecutor General Yoon?”
Spokesperson Lee urged, “Why did former Prosecutor General Yoon lie by saying he did not know or had never met Lee Byung-hwan? This time, he must tell the truth.” He warned, “If, as seen in the past responses from Yoon and his campaign, they try to evade by saying ‘I don’t remember, so I was mistaken’ or ‘I just let him do as he wanted because he said he wanted to help as a supporter,’ they will face a crisis bigger than the king (王) on the palm of their hand.”
