View original imageAccording to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on the 6th, Minister Jeong held a meeting with Luigi Di Maio, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Italy, on the occasion of attending the OECD Ministerial Council Meeting held in Paris, exchanging views on bilateral relations, COVID-19 response, and the upcoming G20 Summit.
The two ministers agreed to expand cooperation into future-oriented fields such as eco-friendly industries, and to collaborate to achieve meaningful outcomes on key agendas such as climate change response, digital innovation, and protection of vulnerable groups through the G20 Summit to be held in Rome at the end of this month.
Minister Jeong also held talks with Gordan Grli? Radman, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Croatia, discussing bilateral relations and the situation on the Korean Peninsula.
The two ministers agreed to activate high-level exchanges on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations next year and to explore ways to expand cooperation in future growth industries such as electric vehicles.
