Strengthening TVion Broadcast Production Capabilities
Increasing Staff and Doubling Live Broadcasts in Q3 This Year
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] TMON announced on the 5th that it will strengthen its capabilities as a 'content commerce platform' by producing original content for its own live commerce platform 'TVON' and expanding win-win cooperation with small and medium partners.
To this end, since August, TMON has integrated the TVON broadcasting production team and significantly increased personnel, completing preparations to expand broadcast production. The number of live broadcasts in the third quarter has more than doubled compared to the first quarter of this year, and sales have also nearly tripled, showing a continuous upward trend.
They are producing content that appeals to viewers beyond simple product sales. Representative examples include 'Donjjul Show' and 'Mission Parasol'. Recently, aiming to support franchise and small business brands, they have jointly planned and launched the dining-type food live commerce 'Baegari Live' with production partners. TMON plans to continue launching various concept content-type broadcasts starting in October.
TMON is also establishing a win-win model with local governments and small business owners using live commerce. First, on the 16th of last month, they signed a business agreement titled 'Let's Save Together!' with Pohang City, initiating efforts to revitalize the local economy and strengthen cooperation with small business owners.They provide multifaceted support such as online sales channels, consulting, and educational programs to small business owners in Pohang City, while simultaneously supporting product sales and marketing in connection with TVON. TMON plans to strengthen collaboration with local governments nationwide, starting with Pohang City.
