Lotteria Expands 'Delivery Tip' Application to Nationwide Delivery Service Stores
[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Hyewon] Lotteria announced on the 5th that starting from the 6th, it will introduce a ‘delivery tip’ service at all stores operating delivery services nationwide to improve services by separating the prices of ordered products and delivery services.
The delivery tip system lowers the minimum order amount by about 30%, from the existing 13,000 won to 9,000 won, and applies a six-tier delivery fee ranging from 2,500 won to 4,500 won based on distance.
According to Lotteria, the introduction of the delivery tip is significant in that it has increased consumer choice diversity by operating dual systems for customer ordered products and delivery services since the introduction of free delivery service in 2011 and the additional delivery fee per ordered product in 2014.
