AK Plaza Gwangmyeong Branch "Strengthening Kids Mom Lifestyle Store"
Diverse Experiential Spaces Provided for 3040 Metropolitan Area Kids Moms
Stores Offering Daily Recharge Opportunities Such as Art, Woodworking, and Pilates
[Asia Economy Reporter Yuri Kim] AK Plaza announced on the 5th that it will introduce a large number of lifestyle stores for 3040 'kids moms' at the shopping mall 'AK Plaza Gwangmyeong,' which officially opens on the 29th in Gwangmyeong, Gyeonggi Province.
AK Plaza Gwangmyeong targets family customers as its main clientele by reflecting the residential characteristics of Gwangmyeong City as well as nearby Siheung and Anyang, and positions itself as a 'daily premium shopping mall' that offers special moments in everyday life. Gwangmyeong branch plans to attract the core consumer group of 3040 kids moms by presenting experiential spaces where they can recharge daily through art, woodworking, Pilates, and more.
On the second basement floor, experiential art tenants 'Seongsu Art Museum' and 'France Wood Workshop' will be introduced. Seongsu Art Museum is a drawing caf? where customers can enjoy art experiences while drinking beverages. Having opened in April at AK Plaza Bundang, Seongsu Art Museum was the first of its kind in the department store industry and has gained great popularity among consumers as a unique cultural space in the region. The 'France Wood Workshop,' where customers can create their own furniture, will also be established. At France Wood Workshop, customers can experience making useful everyday items and furniture such as wooden lamps, clocks, pouches, and organizers. These items are available as semi-finished products, allowing beginners and children to easily participate.
On the third floor, 'Lucete80,' operated by the fitness group 'Lucete,' will open. This is a premium Pilates space where fitness experts including Pilates masters, ballerinas, and physical therapists conduct classes. Lucete80 at Gwangmyeong offers various programs for metropolitan area kids moms, such as 'Kids Pilates' for children and 'Prenatal and Postnatal Pilates' for pregnant women and infants.
Additionally, on the first basement floor, the playground kids caf? 'Champion The Energizer' and the premium kids English membership club 'Promomkinder Reserve' will be introduced. Champion The Energizer at Gwangmyeong is a large-scale store of 992㎡ (approximately 300 pyeong) and, unlike other stores, has a 'Toddler Zone' available for children aged 2 to 3 years. At Gwangmyeong's 'Promomkinder Reserve,' in addition to reading and art activities with foreign teachers, various special classes are held seasonally or by theme.
AK Plaza Gwangmyeong covers an area of 46,305㎡ (approximately 14,007 pyeong) and will have a pre-opening on the 27th followed by an official opening on the 29th. Under the concept of 'Connecting to Life,' which signifies a connection to everyday life, Gwangmyeong branch is a lifestyle shopping mall that reinterprets AK Plaza's 'daily premium' value. It is the fourth shopping mall introduced by AK Plaza following Hongdae, Giheung, and Sejong branches, and is the first location to use the brand name AK Plaza instead of AK& after the BI integration plan announced in May.
