391 New COVID-19 Cases in Seoul by 6 PM... 70 More Than Previous Day
[Asia Economy Reporter Minji Lee] Seoul reported a preliminary count of 391 new COVID-19 cases from midnight to 6 p.m. on the 4th, covering an 18-hour period, according to the Seoul Metropolitan Government.
This is 70 more cases than the previous day (321 cases) during the same time frame, and 75 fewer than a week ago (September 27), when there were 466 cases. The total number of cases for the entire day was 574 on the 3rd and 842 on September 27.
Seoul's daily case count reached a record high of 1,222 on the 24th of last month, then dropped to 1,054 on the 28th, and has been declining since.

As of 6 p.m. on the 4th, the cumulative number of COVID-19 cases in Seoul was preliminarily tallied at 103,903. The final total for the day will be compiled based on data as of midnight on the 5th and announced in the morning.
