Installation of Heated Seats at a Total of 59 Bus Stops in Geumcheon-gu
Automatic Operation When Temperature Is 15℃ or Below from November to March Next Year
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Geumcheon-gu (Mayor Yu Seong-hoon) announced that heated seats have been installed at roadside bus stops to enhance the convenience of residents using buses during the winter season.
The installation locations include 59 bus stops with high passenger traffic and available electricity supply. The surface of the seats features nighttime landscape artwork of Anyangcheon in Geumcheon-gu.
The heated seats are designed to automatically activate when the outside temperature drops below 15℃, maintaining a temperature of 36~38℃. They will operate from November through March of the following year, with operating hours aligned with bus service times from 5 a.m. to 11 p.m.

Mayor Yu Seong-hoon stated, “I hope this installation of heated seats will help residents wait warmly for buses during the winter,” and added, “We will continue to improve transportation convenience facilities so that residents can comfortably use public transportation.”
