BBQ Ranks 25th in 'Top 100 Brands of Korea'
[Asia Economy Reporter Seungjin Lee] Chicken franchise Genesis BBQ announced on the 4th that it ranked 25th overall in the ‘Top 100 Brands in Korea’ for the third quarter of this year, announced by brand value evaluation company Brandstock, achieving the highest ranking among franchise industries.
The ‘Top 100 Brands in Korea’ announced by Brandstock selects the top 100 brands with the highest scores among about 1,000 brands in major domestic industries based on the patented brand value evaluation model (BSTI) score. Since 2005, BBQ has been consistently selected as one of the ‘Top 100 Brands in Korea,’ steadily rising in rank every year. In this third quarter, BBQ ranked 25th, rising two places compared to last year, maintaining its lead with a high ranking in the franchise sector, which is the same industry.
BBQ is promoting coexistence by reducing brokerage fees for franchise stores through exclusive promotions on its own app. In addition, it is expanding consumer choices through business diversification by launching its own craft beer and home meal replacement (HMR) products. Furthermore, through BSK, a packaging and delivery specialty store, it is accelerating ESG (environment, social, governance) management by carrying out a youth start-up support project.
