Fire in Gwanak Police Station Office... No Casualties Reported
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Jung-yoon] A fire broke out on the 4th floor office of the Gwanak Police Station in Seoul and was completely extinguished about 10 minutes later.
The fire, which started around 2:10 PM on the 1st, was fully put out by 2:20 PM. Five police officers present at the scene evacuated, and fortunately, there were no casualties. It is also reported that no outsiders were being questioned at the time.

A police official stated, "The fire started near the ceiling and is believed to be caused by electrical factors such as a short circuit. The exact cause of the fire is under investigation."
