This year's theme is 'A Journey through Craft.' With the intention of healing the mind and body exhausted by COVID-19 through crafts, exhibitions, hands-on experiences, sales, and regional linked events will be held. A total of 634 institutions nationwide, including workshops, galleries, and cultural and artistic organizations, will participate in 1,013 events both online and offline. A major event is 'Wansang (玩賞) - A Tour of Beauty' held at Culture Station Seoul 284 RTO. It deeply highlights the function of craft emphasized as a tool of 'use,' and reflects on the value of craft between artifacts and contemporary art. Attractions in collaboration with various institutions and companies such as Incheon International Airport, Seoul Craft Museum, Terarosa, and Jaeju Sanghoe are also worth noting. At the online exhibition hall, you can also check various videos including exhibitions held in major regions nationwide, production processes, and lectures. For detailed information such as participation methods, please refer to the official Craft Week website.
