[Asia Economy (Suwon) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] Gyeonggi Province will conduct the 3rd round of online applications throughout October for female adolescents who did not apply during the 1st and 2nd rounds of the 'Universal Support for Basic Menstrual Products for Female Adolescents' program held in July and August.
The eligible applicants are female adolescents aged 11 to 18 residing in 14 cities and counties: Ansan, Gunpo, Gwangju, Gimpo, Icheon, Anseong, Hanam, Yeoju, Yangpyeong, Guri, Pocheon, Dongducheon, Gapyeong, and Yeoncheon. They will receive a total of 69,000 KRW over six months, including 11,500 KRW per month, to purchase basic menstrual products.
The province will accept the 3rd round of online applications from October 1 to 31, and support funds will be distributed sequentially starting November 26.
Applications can be submitted online via internet or mobile by accessing the application site and completing mobile phone identity verification between October 1 and 31. However, among the 14 cities and counties, Gimpo, which operates a different local currency system, requires applications to be submitted through the city hall website. Yeoju only accepts applications at eup/myeon/dong administrative welfare centers.
Female adolescents who receive the basic menstrual product purchase funds in the form of local currency cards or mobile local currency can use them at CU, GS25, and 7-Eleven convenience stores.
