Gochang-gun Promotes 'Enterprise-Specialized Job Project'
[Gochang=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Jaegil] Gochang-gun, Jeonbuk, is promoting the ‘Gochang Enterprise (氣UP) Specialized Job Pilot Project’ targeting local companies to establish a new job model in response to the increase of elderly and career-interrupted women.
According to the county on the 30th, this project aims to explore new job directions suitable for the Gochang environment by linking Gochang-gun companies with specialized jobs, and to create a representative brand job model unique to Gochang-gun.
The project targets elderly people (aged 60 to 70), career-interrupted women (part-time), and persons with disabilities, and recruitment is currently underway through the Gochang-gun Local JOB Center.
The county will select two companies as samples and actively promote manpower linkage through business agreements with intermediate job organizations (Gochang Senior Club, Women’s New Work Center, Vocational Adaptation Training Facility for the Disabled).
The selected companies will be supported with workplace environment improvement projects for the efficient operation of the ‘Gochang Enterprise (氣UP) Specialized Job Project’.
In particular, the project gains additional significance as a pilot project funded by the prize money awarded for winning the Best Award in Jeonbuk Province’s job policy evaluation.
County Governor Yu Gisang said, “A new job model unique to Gochang-gun is urgently needed for elderly people under 70, career-interrupted women, and persons with disabilities,” and added, “We will do our best to ensure that this job project establishes itself as a successful job model for the county.”
