[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Heeyoon] Hunet, a lifelong education specialist company (CEO Jo Youngtak), announced on the 29th that it has obtained certification for the 5th consecutive time in the 'Human Resource Development Excellence Institution Certification System' hosted by the Ministry of Employment and Labor.
The 'Human Resource Development Excellence Institution Certification System,' hosted by the Ministry of Employment and Labor and organized by the Human Resources Development Service of Korea, is a system that evaluates and certifies companies that support the improvement of employees' job skills and recruit and manage talent based on capabilities.
Certified companies receive a certificate jointly issued by the Ministry of Employment and Labor, the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, and the Ministry of SMEs and Startups. The certification is valid for three years, with re-evaluation every four years. This year, a total of 80 companies were selected across three categories: large enterprises, small and medium enterprises, and excellent companies for employment-first-later-learning. Hunet has obtained the excellence certification since the system was first implemented in 2006.
Hunet supports the self-development and growth of its employees under the 'Hunet University' system. It operates various distinctive educational programs such as the weekly guest lecture series 'Innovation Academy,' voluntary learning clubs 'Field and Forum,' team reading discussions 'Free Learning Book Club,' leadership case sharing 'Leadership TED,' self-directed learning classes 'Free Learning Class,' and 'Unlimited Book Support.'
