Imsil N Cheese Records 'Big Sales' During Chuseok Holiday
[Imsil=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Nosik] ImsilN Cheese in Jeonbuk Imsil has achieved great success in gaining popularity during the Chuseok holiday season, thanks to high consumer trust and brand power.
The county announced on the 27th that sales of ImsilN Cheese recently recorded before the Chuseok holiday showed a significant increase compared to the last Lunar New Year holiday, driven by various promotional activities and consumer-tailored sales strategies.
The ImsilN Cheese Cluster Association (Chairman Shim Min), which is in charge of promoting and distributing ImsilN Cheese, achieved sales of 500 million KRW during the Chuseok holiday period, marking a sales growth of over 40% compared to the Lunar New Year holiday.
Imsil Cheese Agricultural Cooperative (Chairman Seol Dongseop) recorded sales of 2.5 billion KRW, an increase of more than 20%.
Despite the economic downturn caused by COVID-19, various activities by the Cheese Cluster Association to revitalize dairy product sales are directly benefiting local producers.
ImsilN Cheese operates six directly managed sales outlets, including highway rest area stores and cheese cafes, as well as an online sales network, generating annual distribution sales of 3.5 billion KRW, helping to resolve sales difficulties faced by small-scale local businesses.
In particular, the online sales network has played a crucial role in boosting sales of ImsilN Cheese dairy products by focusing on various online marketing efforts such as SNS promotion, adapting to the shift toward non-face-to-face consumption patterns.
ImsilN Cheese sausages, made using ImsilN Cheese, also set sales records double those of the Lunar New Year holiday thanks to online promotion and sales.
County Governor Shim Min said, “The high consumption of products related to ImsilN Cheese has greatly supported local farmers. We will continue to make our best efforts with various sales strategies and marketing activities to overcome the COVID crisis so that dairy processing companies can focus on production with peace of mind.”
