Nexon Signs Domestic and Global Publishing Agreement for 'Hit2'
[Asia Economy Reporter Kang Nahum] Nexon announced on the 27th that it has signed a domestic and global publishing contract for the massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) ‘HIT2,’ developed by its subsidiary Netmarble Games.
Previously developed under the name ‘Project XH,’ HIT2 is a game utilizing Netmarble Games’ flagship intellectual property (IP) ‘HIT,’ supporting cross-platform play optimized for both PC and mobile. It features large-scale battles and user interactions within a fantasy world.
Through this contract, Nexon has secured the global service rights for HIT2 and will target the MMORPG market both domestically and globally.
Jungheon Lee, CEO of Nexon, stated, "Based on Netmarble Games’ unique RPG success formula, we will actively support HIT2 to continue creating a new blockbuster legend."

Meanwhile, the mobile game HIT, released by Netmarble Games in 2016, recorded 25 million cumulative downloads and won the Korea Game Awards, leading to success in both domestic and global markets.
