Three Seoul Geumcheon-gu Office Employees Arrested and Indicted on Charges of Sexual Harassment of Female Staff
[Asia Economy Reporter Yoo Byung-don] Employees of the Seoul Geumcheon-gu Office who are accused of sexually harassing a female colleague and aiding and abetting the act have been brought to trial.
The Seoul Southern District Prosecutors' Office Women and Children Crime Investigation Division (Chief Prosecutor Gong Bong-suk) announced on the 23rd that on the 16th, they arrested and indicted Mr. A and Mr. B on charges of special quasi-forcible molestation under the Act on Special Cases Concerning the Punishment of Sexual Crimes, and Mr. C on charges of aiding and abetting special quasi-forcible molestation.
According to the prosecution, they are accused of sexually harassing a female employee working together at the district office.
The victim filed a complaint with the police in July against Mr. A and Mr. B for forcible molestation, and during the investigation, the police confirmed that Mr. C was present at the time of the incident and subsequently added him as a suspect.

They were detained last month after undergoing a suspect interrogation (warrant review) before detention. The Geumcheon-gu Office had suspended them from their positions in July.
