1541 Confirmed Cases by 9 PM... Around 1700 Expected on the 22nd
[Asia Economy Reporter Bu Aeri] On Chuseok day, the 21st, COVID-19 confirmed cases were reported across the country.
According to the quarantine authorities, Seoul city, and local governments, from midnight to 9 PM on that day, a total of 1,541 COVID-19 confirmed cases were recorded nationwide.
This is 10 more than the 1,531 cases recorded at the same time the previous day, but 400 fewer than last Tuesday (1,941 cases).
Due to the Chuseok holiday, the number of tests decreased, which appears to have led to a slight decline in confirmed cases.
Looking at the regions where confirmed cases were reported that day, the metropolitan area accounted for 1,166 cases (75.7%), and non-metropolitan areas accounted for 375 cases (24.3%).
By city and province, Seoul had 631 cases, Gyeonggi 387, Incheon 148, Chungnam 62, Gwangju 39, Busan and Daegu each 38, Gangwon 33, Gyeongnam 29, Gyeongbuk 28, Chungbuk 26, Jeonnam 22, Jeonbuk 21, Ulsan 20, Daejeon 13, Jeju 5, and Sejong 1.
