According to KB Financial on the 17th, Lee Jeong-hyun recorded a 6-under-par 66 in the final round of the '14th KB Financial Group Women's Amateur Golf Championship' held the previous day at Century 21 Country Club in Wonju, Gangwon Province, lifting the winner's trophy with a total score of 7-under-par 137.
Lee Jeong-hyun, the youngest national representative in history, narrowly missed first place with a runner-up finish at the 2019 KB Financial Group Women's Amateur Golf Championship but showcased her skills to the fullest by reaching the top in two years. Along with the winner's trophy, Lee Jeong-hyun received an invitation to the 2022 KLPGA Tour major tournament 'KB Financial Star Championship' and a scholarship of 2 million won as a prize.

After the tournament, KB Financial also donated 300 million won to the Korea Golf Association as a junior golf player development fund to promote the advancement of Korean amateur golf. A KB Financial official stated, "We will do our best to support creating an environment where Korea's golf hopefuls can freely pursue their sport."
