City Councilor Joo Jeong-young (Juchon-myeon, Jinlye-myeon, Chilsan Seobu-dong, Jangyu 1-dong) stated on the 16th, "Despite the urgent need to provide COVID-19 living support funds, the process takes 3 to 4 months. We continuously demanded improvements and received a response from the executive branch that it will be shortened to 15 days during the session period."
He also demanded improvements to ensure a certain level of provision by making every effort to secure the budget, pointing out that the relief supplies provided to prevent self-quarantine violations are at the lowest level in the province, which deprives Gimhae citizens of their rightful entitlements.
Furthermore, Councilor Joo urged, "When delivering relief supplies to self-quarantined households, public officials are personally carrying heavy boxes. This should be improved by using delivery services or public jobs to reduce staff workload and prevent inconvenience to citizens caused by administrative work gaps."
