[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Sang-hyun] Robot Land Theme Park in Changwon City, Gyeongnam, is shaking off the slump caused by COVID-19 with the autumn season event "Enjoy with Robot Land."
According to the city on the 16th, Robot Land will reopen the exhibition and experience facilities, which had been closed due to COVID-19, after renewal and remodeling starting from this Chuseok holiday.
Through the renewal, Robot Land has transformed from a theme park where visitors only endure long queues to ride attractions into a space where all family members can be happy by significantly increasing rest and dining areas and providing various events to enjoy throughout the park as an outing space.
The new content in the Robot Industry Hall, "Future Emotion Robot Adventure with Riku," uses Korea's first interactive robot "Riku" to break away from the traditional passive viewing experience, allowing children to become the main characters and interact directly with "Riku" for a unique travel experience.
Additionally, colorful lighting, an interactive wall that responds to human movements, and animations displayed on the circle vision covering the walls captivate not only children but also the eyes and ears of parents.
At the central plaza, traditional game experience events and prize giveaways will be held in celebration of Hangawi. Visitors can try various games such as Yutnori, Tuho throwing, rolling hoops, and hitting stones, with simple competitions offering free admission tickets and beverage vouchers.
