Gyeongbuk Sangju City Officials Promote Buying Organic Wine as Chuseok Gifts Campaign
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yong-woo] Public officials in Sangju-si, Gyeongbuk, launched a campaign to purchase local agricultural specialty products as Chuseok gifts.
Sangju-si public officials conducted a 15-day campaign to promote the sale of organic wine for Chuseok to support local businesses struggling with the sales of processed agricultural products due to COVID-19.
From the 1st to the 15th of this month, Sangju City encouraged city hall employees to purchase wine products produced by Wonderful World Winery, an organic wine producer located in the city.
The products sold included three types of wine?dry, white, and sweet?made from 100% organic Campbell and Shine Muscat grapes. Sangju-si public officials purchased 3 million KRW worth of wine as Chuseok gifts.
