Yeonggwang-gun to Operate 'Agricultural Machinery Rental Center' Regularly Starting Next Month 5th
[Yeonggwang=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Jeonseong] Jeollanam-do Yeonggwang-gun (Governor Kim Junsung) announced on the 15th that it will implement the ‘Agricultural Machinery Rental Office Regular Duty System’ from next month 5th to December 5th to assist the use of agricultural machinery during the busy farming season.
The rental agricultural machinery release time will be moved forward from 9 PM to 8 PM, and the working days will be operated regularly including weekdays, Saturdays, and public holidays.
However, the southern and northern branches outside the main office will be closed on Sundays.
The total number of personnel assigned to the regular duty system at the three agricultural machinery rental offices is 19, and the Saturday and public holiday work shifts will operate at half strength.
Since the personnel are divided into two shifts, to ensure smooth use on Saturdays and public holidays besides weekdays, the use of the ‘Advance Release System for Rental Agricultural Machinery,’ which allows releasing machinery at 5 PM the day before holidays, is encouraged.
An official from the Agricultural Technology Center said, “As the use of agricultural machinery is rapidly increasing and to resolve manpower shortages, users should familiarize themselves with the operation instructions of the machinery to ensure safety, and must comply with checking for any malfunctions and cleaning the machinery before returning it.”
