Centered on the comprehensive situation room, 10 teams including the disaster and accident response team, waste management team, traffic situation team, infectious disease response team, and water supply team will be activated to carry out 8 countermeasures.
In particular, to prevent the spread of COVID-19, a "Special COVID-19 Prevention Plan" will be established during the Chuseok holiday, with the Disaster and Safety Countermeasures Headquarters situation room operating normally as usual, and an emergency duty system maintained to respond promptly with situation reports in case of infectious disease outbreaks.
To prevent various safety accidents such as disasters and accidents, the comprehensive disaster situation room will be operated, continuously monitoring heavy rain and typhoon situations, managing safety at multi-use facilities such as traditional markets and fire-vulnerable facilities, preventing safety accidents among returning visitors, and actively promoting wildfire prevention measures.
Additionally, to ensure residents have a healthy holiday, an emergency medical response situation room will be established and operated, with designated emergency medical institutions and duty pharmacies, and joint inspections on hygiene at food manufacturing and sales businesses during the Chuseok peak season. Duty medical institutions and pharmacies can be checked through the county office website.
