21 New COVID-19 Cases Reported in Gyeongnam Province (Comprehensive)

View original image[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Sang-hyun] As of 1:30 PM on the 14th, Gyeongsangnam-do announced that 21 new COVID-19 cases have been confirmed since 5 PM the previous day.
By region, there are 14 cases in Changwon, 4 in Gimhae, and 1 each in Geoje, Yangsan, and Namhae.
By infection route, 13 cases were from contact with confirmed patients within the province, 6 are under investigation, 1 is related to a Geoje company and religious facility, and 1 is an overseas entrant.
Among the 9 confirmed cases in Changwon from contact with confirmed patients within the province, 7 were family members, and the remaining 2 tested positive after contact with an acquaintance and a coworker, respectively.
The other 5 cases tested positive after examination due to symptom onset, and their infection routes are under investigation.
Among the 3 confirmed cases in Gimhae from contact with confirmed patients within the province, 2 tested positive after contact with coworkers, and 1 after contact with family members.
The remaining 1 case tested positive during a diagnostic test before release from quarantine after contact with a confirmed patient from another region.
The 1 confirmed case in Geoje is an acquaintance of a confirmed patient related to a company and religious facility located in Geoje, who developed symptoms during quarantine.
