IBK Investment & Securities Activates YouTube Channel to Communicate with MZ Generation
On the 10th, IBK Investment & Securities' in-house idea promotion team, 'IBKS YouTube Crew,' held their launch ceremony in a metaverse format.
View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Minji Lee] IBK Investment & Securities announced on the 3rd that it will activate YouTube content to communicate with the MZ generation. On the 10th of last month, the company formed an in-house YouTube dedicated team called ‘IBKS YouTube Crew’ and held an inauguration ceremony using the metaverse platform ‘ifland’.
‘IBKS YouTube Crew’ is an in-house idea promotion team that proposes easier and more entertaining content to strengthen communication with customers on the YouTube channel. Employees below the manager level from the MZ generation, who possess curiosity and a spirit of challenge, volunteered through a recruitment announcement, and the crew members to work with were directly selected through a blind vote among the applicants. The blind vote was conducted based only on self-introduction, MBTI personality type, and motivation for application.
In line with the non-face-to-face financial environment, the goal of ‘IBKS YouTube Crew’ is to develop content that does not lose the identity as a financial company and draws response and empathy from MZ generation consumers.
Since May of last year, IBK Investment & Securities has been providing investment stock analysis content by research fellows belonging to its research headquarters on YouTube. Through ‘IBKS YouTube Crew,’ the channel will be revamped, and plans are in place to further enhance fun and delivery by reflecting IBK Investment & Securities’ unique competitive investment information, financial technology, hobbies, and more.
