28 New Confirmed Cases in Gyeongnam ... 17 in Changwon, 5 in Yangsan, 2 Each in Jinju and Geoje, 1 Each in Goseong and Namhae
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Kang Sharon] Gyeongnam Province announced on the 12th that 28 people in 6 cities and counties tested positive for the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19) after 5 p.m. on the 11th.
By region, there were 17 in Changwon, 5 in Yangsan, 2 each in Jinju and Geoje, and 1 each in Goseong and Namhae.
Among them, 2 cases are related to the Geoje corporate and religious facilities cluster, which started to have confirmed cases from the 7th (cumulative 35 cases).
One additional confirmed case related to childcare and educational facilities in Yangsan was reported, bringing the cumulative total to 62.
Regarding the foreign acquaintance gathering cluster in Jinju, confirmed at the end of last month, one more case was confirmed in a test before quarantine release. The cumulative total is 20.
