This event will continue until September 22 at Pungnap, Bangi, Macheon Jungang, Macheon, Seokchon, Saemaeul Market, and Munjeong-dong Rodeo Shopping Street.
Each market will hold special discount events on ritual items and prize giveaways based on purchase amounts. Prizes will be given in the form of Onnuri gift certificates for purchases above a certain amount. The schedule varies by market, and the event will end once the prepared prizes are exhausted.
In particular, anticipating an increase in residents visiting traditional markets ahead of the Chuseok holiday, the district is focusing on quarantine measures. Regular disinfection is conducted by professional disinfection companies, and self-diagnosis kits have been supplied to market workers for pre-screening.
Additionally, the event will be held in strict compliance with quarantine rules such as wearing masks and social distancing.
Along with this, reflecting the non-face-to-face consumption trend in the COVID-19 era, an ‘Online Direct Transaction Market for Agricultural, Fishery, and Livestock Products’ will also be operated. Nine cities and counties, including Andong City in Gyeongbuk, Danyang County in Chungbuk, and Pyeongchang County in Gangwon, which are sister cities, will participate in the market, selling local specialties such as fruits, Korean beef, seafood, grains, and nuts.
Orders can be placed through the ‘Online Direct Transaction Market’ section on the Songpa-gu website. Considering the delivery deadline, orders must be placed by the 14th. For other inquiries, contact the Songpa-gu Regional Economy Division.
