"From Dunkin' Donuts to Socar and Joins Prime" LG Uplus Strengthens 'Gudokkok' Subscription Partnership Benefits
[Asia Economy Reporter Eunmo Koo] LG Uplus announced on the 7th that it will strengthen the partnership benefits of the U+ Membership ‘Gudokkok’ service.
Launched in June, Gudokkok is one of the ‘My Own Kkok’ services provided to U+ Membership VIP and higher-tier customers, along with ‘Movie Kkok’ and ‘Life Kkok’. It is a membership subscription service that allows users to enjoy one of various partnership benefits for free each month in a subscription format.
Following a new partnership with Dunkin’ Donuts last month, LG Uplus will also partner with the car-sharing platform SOCAR and the web magazine platform Joins Prime starting next month, offering free services to VIP customers. The Gudokkok benefits will expand from the existing 8 types to a total of 11 types.
SOCAR offers one 10,000 KRW discount coupon for car rental fees, Joins Prime provides a monthly subscription allowing unlimited access to 228 magazine titles, and Dunkin’ Donuts offers two free coupons for Americano and Cappuccino Chusty, available once per month.
Meanwhile, U+ Membership’s My Own Kkok allows customers to choose one among Gudokkok, Movie Kkok, and Life Kkok to use the benefit once a month, and switching between ‘Kkok’ services is allowed once each in the first and second half of the year.
