[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] The Small and Medium Business Corporation (Chairman Kim Hak-do, hereinafter referred to as SBC) announced on the 6th that it has established a dedicated microlearning site and will expand non-face-to-face training services for employees of small and medium-sized enterprises.
Microlearning is an educational method that delivers core content in about 10 minutes. It is a form of education that enhances immersion in a short time and improves accessibility and convenience by supporting mobile learning.
On the SBC microlearning site, users can access about 1,000 contents in technology fields such as D.N.A (Data, Network, Artificial Intelligence) for nurturing new industry and digital talent in small and medium enterprises, ESG (Environment, Social, Governance), BIG3 (Semiconductors, Future Cars, Biohealth), as well as management and humanities content.
Considering the difficult educational environment due to COVID-19, SBC provides all content free of charge. Educational content is available to anyone through simple membership registration on the SBC microlearning site. Additionally, SBC plans to build a service that allows small businesses to directly produce or upload educational content created by individuals for employee training on the site in the future. The plan is to provide a platform where employees of small and medium enterprises can share work know-how and industry trends, thereby advancing it into a participatory education platform.
