According to reports, around 7:30 PM that day, a group in a black sedan fired multiple shots at a crowd of people on a street in the Brightwood Park area of northwest Washington DC and then fled.
Six people were injured in the incident and transported to the hospital, but 3 of them died. The remaining 3 injured are reported to be in stable condition.
