Four-Digit COVID-19 Cases for 61 Consecutive Days
On the 5th, the temporary COVID-19 screening clinic set up at Seoul Station Plaza was crowded with citizens seeking testing. The Central Disease Control Headquarters announced that as of midnight, there were 1,490 new confirmed cases, bringing the total to 260,403. It has been 61 consecutive days with four-digit new cases as of this day. Since recording 1,211 cases on July 7, the number has rarely dropped to three digits.
